Conventional valves sytems

Wrong products solutions
Systems with valve manifolds are not reliable when using different
acid products.
After a while, the valves are exposed to various aggressive
products that damage and eventually break them. Consequently, a
defective valve that can't be shut properly will let different
products flow, making undesired mixes, corrupting the solutions that
are desired.
-
Long starting times
It is often required to wait around thirty minutes before the machines
are ready, compared to 10 with the DVS.
-
Over-consumption because of difficult cleaning
Compared to a pipe without any valve and deviations, fluids will
stagnate in many places. This translates into a higher demand in water
for pipe cleaning, rising the processing costs altogether.
-
Products in the sewer
If one or many distribution valves are not entirely shut, because of a
defect, parts of the fluids will end up in the sewer or in the wrong
machine. This problem will not be detected unless a valve is
definitively broken. Meanwhile, the consumption of the products that
are used will rise.
-
Difficult diagnosis
A system with valves poses a serious diagnosis problem. Nobody is able
to know if all the valves and actuators work at 100%
-
More expensive on the long run
At purchase time, a typical dispensing system is less expensive than
our DVS system. However, on the long run, breakdowns, maintenance and
product wastes will rapidly make up for the initial investment needed
for the DVS.

DVS system
-
Individual valves
Our system uses a vectorial collection unit in which every valve is
individual and auto-cleaning. Also, the system doesn't use any valve
for machine selection, which simplifies washing and sending system.
-
Limited intervention
Naturally, manual intervention is very limited since we use only
auto-cleaning valves for the products and no valves at all for the
machines.
-
Precision
At dispensing level, our system's precision is over 99,93 % and is
controlled by an industrial computer, as opposed to a PLC for other
systems. Every product is individually controlled by the computer,
which modifies the flow of the pump in accordance.
-
Auto-diagnosis
The industrial computer is also the only one to supply an
auto-diagnosis and to process a complete control on the machine for
every weighting.
-
Dispensing speed
The DVS is the fastest dispensing system. 40 seconds are enough to
dispense, send and clean the pipe up to the machine with a distance of
100 meters. This makes it possible for a dyeplant with 20 machines to
start in the morning in only 10 minutes.
-
Heavy duty manufacturing
The DVS machine from SATE is built in stainless steel AISI 316 an in
anti-corrosive materials, making it the most reliable machine.
